Certificações NP EN ISO 9001 - Quality, NP EN ISO 14001 - Environment, OHSAS 18001 - Occupational Health and Safety

A Harsco Environmental na Maia e no Seixal acredita que a adoção de um Sistema de Gestão Integrado da Qualidade, Ambiente e Saúde e Segurança no Trabalho baseado e certificado nas normas NP EN ISO 9001 - Quality, NP EN ISO 14001 - Environment, OHSAS 18001 - Occupational Health and Safety, é um contributo fundamental para a competitividade da empresa.

Num contexto de empresa moderna e com visão de excelência, é fundamental a adoção de práticas e políticas que persigam a melhoria contínua com planeamento e controlo rigorosos, tendo, em simultâneo, muito presente a sua envolvente social e as questões de ambiente e saúde e segurança associadas às suas atividades.

Neste seguimento, a Harsco na Maia e no Seixal investiu na certificação segundo as seguintes normas:

• NP EN ISO 9001 - Quality

  Harsco is certified under the ISO 9001 Quality Management standard, formally recognizing its Quality Management System, including the compliance of its services and products, customer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement of its activities.

• NP EN ISO 14001 - Environment

  Aware that its activities have effects on the environment, Harsco implements methods, equipment, and controls in its operations aimed at minimizing environmental impacts. Harsco is certified under the ISO 14001 standard, thus recognizing its Environmental Management System.

• OHSAS 18001 - Occupational Health and Safety

  In the scope of Occupational Health and Safety and well-being, Harsco is a certified company under the OHSAS 18001 Reference standard. Harsco aims to create a structure to manage the prevention of fatal accidents, occupational diseases, and injuries to workers. For this reason, it has a strong concern for the safety and health conditions of its employees, third parties, neighbors, and the general public. The continuous improvement of working conditions in the company and the minimization of hazards and risks are ongoing concerns. Harsco invests in incorporating best management practices and compliance with equipment and working conditions, in accordance with legal requirements for occupational health and safety, contributing to the prevention and reduction of accidents and illnesses involving its employees.
